Welcome to The Dee Why Surfing Fraternity Points Archive.
This space has been created so that we can have a reliable archive of all our points scores over the years. We can refer to this Points Archive in the future for verification of division championships, dates, names and of course scores etc.
Since this is the first Archive page, some helpful information:
While it has many uses, the real value of the DYSFZoho Wiki is that we can now easily create a number of archives for documentation storage and historical archiving. Simply put, we can keep track of everything from our financial records to monthly and yearly point scores, details of sponsorships and copies of important documents via this wiki site and even use the software that is attached to the site while online. While much of our wiki is currently open, Private and confidential documents can be kept private with limited use passwords. Any one who has a general password can work with the wiki, but you don't need a password to view it. Think of it as a big office/club room with lots of electronic tools. It's open to all members who are interested in assisting or just want to try it out. Email us for more info'.
Using the wiki is easy. Once logged in you'll find you are in "Edit" mode. You can just drop the points file into the page when in "edit" mode, either as a file or simply copy and paste them - you can even just "select /copy "from our webpage and paste it here. A new page can be started for different months/years etc by selecting "Add sub page" from the navigation menu at the side here. There is also a button in edit mode to "Insert Table" like this:
name
| january
| february
| june
| total score
| position
|
|
| table
|
|
| table
| name
| july
| table
|
| table
| table
|
When it's active it's a simple table layout. If you wanna be clever, you just create one or two cells and you can also contain files .pictures or text inside the cells like this:
Hopefully by the time anyone gets here I will have had the time to make a start on archiving at least all the available scores for 2007
